Akismet is malfunctioning

  It seems that Akismet is malfunctioning, and spam-marking a lot of comments.

  I was recently trying to post some (very long) comments at http://tpproposal.wordpress.com and they were not appearing. I informed the site owner about this on another site (TRF, a physics blog (on blogspot) written by Lubos Motl), and he said that they were all appearing in his “Spam” folder.

  I’m having the same problem while commenting on https://mcmahondemystifiederrata.wordpress.com .

  The only solution is for me to inform the post authors outside of their blogs, which only works if I know them outside their blogs.

  Can this problem be fixed ? .

  I have noticed some behaviour about this faulty behaviour:

  – This always happens if the commient contains external links.
  – It happens otherwise too, but not always : ) .
