Akismet marks ALL comments as spam

I’ve implemented akismet into my blog system that runs as a classic asp application. The verification is done without any problems, the same with the spam check. Unfortunetely akismet recognizes ALL comments as spam. I have no clue why. I’m sure that I use the API correctly because I had a look into the PHP, Perl and ASP.Net Classes that do exactly the same.

I’ve read about some guys which had the same proplems and I’d like to know if there is a solution for this. You can find my blog at http://www.chili-it.at/blog (all the last comments were caught as spam and manually published) There are no spam related words or links or something else…

    I’d greatly appreciate any help!

You’ll have better luck at wordpress.org/support

These forums are for websites hosted at wordpress.com not sites hosted on a webserver that you’ve purchased space on.

(Correct me if I’m wrong but it doesn’t look like a wordpress.com blog.)

Agreed but we handle some of the Akismet issues here since this is where folks get the Akismet API keys from.

Akismet appears to be having issues currently. You may want to scan the front page of the forums here for a couple of threads on the topic.

Seen on a system admin mailing list earlier today:

Folks, I have to say “sorry!”, I found the mistake. I mixed “true” and “false” in the “comment_check” function.

Sorry, the problem is solved ;-)
