Akismet problem
-
I have been having problems with Akismet plug-in, it starts to mark as spam comments that there aren’t spam, so i want to know if anybody else has been having the same problem, or if it is a problem with Akismet Syststem or if it is a problem in my blog.
thanks,

If you’re self hosted you’re in the wrong forum. Self hosted and web hosted bloggers have a forum here http://wordpress.org/support
If you’re a wordpress.com bloggers then look down the forum threads and find the one on this same topic rather than having a duplicate thread running.
EDIT: Dang I’m sorry and I apologize.
I thought there already was a thread on Akismet but that was yesterday. Your post stands. This was a problem for some yesterday and for you today. Send in a feedback to staff. -

Akismet questions for the most part gets answered here folks. This is where the keys get handed out.
Staff has stated that you should mark the comment as nonspam as a start. That’s why that option is there. If it continues though, drop an email to support at akismet ( dot ) com with a pointer to the specific comment being caught and include the IP address. They can’t do anything without either bit of information.
Hope this helps,

I’m new to WordPress as well and can’t even figure out how to upload the Akismet plug-in. Looked all through Dashboard but can’t seem to find the method. Can anyone help me?

Yes. If you have a blog that you host anywhere other than WordPress.com, you’re in the wrong forum and need to be at WordPress.org.
If your blog is hosted at WordPress.com, you don’t have to install Akismet; it’s automatically on your blog already.
Always identify the blog you’re talking about, please. It’s easier to give one right answer than two maybe ones.
