Akismet refund request

    I’ve been charged £27 for an annual Akismet subscription 2 years running I have never used. Every time I try to delete my account it says its not possible as I have an active subscription.

    I do not have any websites associated with Akismet and have therefore never used it. I would like a refund on these pointless payments that I can’t seem to cancel.

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    Hello there,

    It looks like this may have been for the site jimdevereaux.com, which is hosted with GoDaddy.

    With that in mind, I’ve been able to refund and cancel that subscription.

    The refund can take up to 10 working days to appear on a statement.
