Akismet troubles

I know this has been asked before by others (including myself) but as I’ve had no success with akismet support, I wanted to check if anyone else who has previously had troubles is getting any progress and how? I have valid comments that are being ‘eaten up’ by akismet but they don’t show individually so I can’t de-spam them. It’s very frustrating and I’m wondering if anyone else has found a way to address this? Thanks.

The only way to address this is to provide staff through Akismet support reports with as much information as possible. If you have valid comments being “eaten” then you have the email addresses from those people. Perhaps providing the email addresses to staff will be helpful when it comes to sorting this out.

I’ve seen lots of posts on this now and I’m sure you and the others, who have the same problem, are really frustrated so I hope this gets sorted soon.
