Aksimet ham
-
In my blog I see that the spam protection page collects statistics. First it tells me how much spam it has found, then on a second page it pats itself on its back with a page telling me that it didnt do any mistakes with identifying this spam. As far as I have been able to tell, there is no way for me to see the spam or to control that it indeed contained no ham. This statistic seems completely useless to me. Is there any way to disable this aksimet program? Id rather junk the 20 spam each month and know there was no ham than see a diagram tell me that 20 pieces of proposed spam were junked without any errors being made.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No, you cannot disable Akismet on WordPress.com sites. Akismet disables spam which may contain harmful virus code, and if you check the spam it allows you to see, you’ll understand that for the most part it does so correctly.
In the nearly 6 years I’ve used wp.com there have been fewer than half a dozen valid users which had been marked as spammers—they were usually comments with more than one link.

Well, Akismet is not so good on my site ( which is private). Akismet has even spammed me (the admin) on numerous occasions ( and no, not because of too many links).
Total false spams to-date = 773

Interesting.
And yes, Akismet is not perfect. It sometimes even spams regular volunteers on these forums, and often (especially on weekends) allows sports streaming and escort-services posts to clog up these forums. But looking at the list of spammers it has caught here provides evidence that it does work in most instances. And the number of times regular volunteers are “spammed” is considerably fewer than it was.
This apparently has been a problem for you for a while:

and aside from the comments/answers in that thread I’m sorry to say that I cannot add anything else to solve it.
