Alerting blog followers to new pages

  Hi,

  How do my blog followers know when I have uploaded a new page as opposed to a new post?

  Hi there,

  Your blog’s followers will be notified when you publish a new blog post, but they will not receive notifications about new pages. I see that you recently published a blog post to tell your followers about a new page on your blog — that is a great way to let them know about new pages!

  OK thanks for getting back to me. I had some vague memory that I had seen somewhere how to set alerts for both pages and posts…clearly I’m wishing!

  You can enable a setting so you are notified whenever a post or page changes on your own blog, which may be what you are thinking of. There is more information about that here:

  Email Post Changes

  However, this will not automatically notify your followers about these changes. I hope this helps!
