  Can I add a meta tag from Alexa to WordPress.com and if so please help me. Thank you.

  No I’m sorry but NO meta tags can be added to wordpress.com free hosted blogs. However, not to worry I have been here for 5 years and the information regarding my blogs appears in Alexa — no problem — no meta tags required.
