Align header with page
-
After I got the CSS upgrade to increase the font size, a mysterious border appeared around the main post center of the blog (which I believe is called the “page”). I asked about it here:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=12596&page&replies=4#post-91025I managed to resolve the issue but have a lingering problem. The header is aligned properly on the left but the right edge juts out past the page. See http://humboldtherald.wordpress.com/
How can I get the right side of the page to conform with the width of the header?
Thanks

Actually it looks centered to me in ie 6 with the exceptions that I see about a pixel or two of the background along the left and right of the header image.

On firefox 2.0.0.4 what I see is a header that’s overflowing into the background and a footer that’s doing the same thing. The overflow from both is seen on the right hand side.
The FAQs says: Kubrick size:760*200 (download) Note: This is all white apart from the edges. The header image the blogger made does measure 760 x 200.
I captured the image, put it in paint and reduced it to 736 x 200. I then uploaded it to the same theme on my test blog and it fits perfectly.

I checked it in IE and it looks like drmike described. That’s how it looked in Firefox before I started trying to fix it.
I see the same in Firefox as timethief. The header and footer cross into the background on the right side. Since the header is the correct size, is there a way to stretch the white center to match it?
