Align left not working properly in silver
-
When I try to insert an image using the align-left option, only part of the image is displayed.
I work in HTML mode (to make sure any changes that I made are not over-written).
See for example the latest post – chapter 6 Part 3.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

It allows for the space, but it does not display the whole image.
In this one I did not use align left and it displays in full.
Perhaps the author of this template can help?

Correct.
Can you actually see the whole image?
When I visit the site I can only see a thin horizontal strip of it at the top, and the rest of the area allocated for the image is blank.
Is it only me? -
Yes I can see the whole image, both in this post and in the one you originally complained about. Strip at the top with the rest blank sounds like a slow connection timing out. Try clearing your browser’s cache.

I am sorry but your explanation is not totally convincing.
In my latest post I used align=none and the image displayed
immedialetly and in full.so there must be another ptoblem here.
Here is the link:

Yes of course I may be wrong – or it may be a coincidence. Try changing the alignment of this image to left and see if you’ll get the same problem.
(But anyway, as I’ve already said, I can see all of your images in full.)

I changed the alignment of THAT image and it displayed in full… :-)
So, I think the issue here is that “powerful” computers can view images in full regardless of alignment, but less powerful ones cannot (?)
Also, a new issue: when I load an image from the library, it is loaded at the top of the post, and not at the cursor position. I may start a new question for this one…
Keep you busy for a while…
