Align linkable images in TEXT WIDGET

I know I’m missing something incredibly simple here, but I cannot figure this one out.
I am trying to align two linkable images in my side column (place 125×125 ads), but I can’t seem to keep them from stacking. This is the code I am using, help please- what am I doing wrong/missing?
