Aligning columns centrally

I’d like to be able to align the main columns on my Blog Feed, About Me and Portfolio pages centrally instead of having them aligned to the left, and I can’t work out how to do it, is this an option for the Independent Publisher 2 theme?

Hi there,
The blog feed is aligned left due to the sidebar that you added. Without the sidebar, the blog feed will be centered. If you want to move your widgets to the footer, that may help. Otherwise, it will require CSS to center the feed with the widgets located on the sidebar.

You might also want to try the new WordPress Block Editor in which you can mix and match the content blocks you want to display in your post or page.
Go to My Sites → Pages → Add New Page
The following page will let you choose what kind of page you want to display, like About, Menu, Contact, Portfolio, Blog Pages, etc. I suggest you use the Portfolio Page and once you’re inside the editor, you can simply add more blocks for your About Me and Blogs.
Or you may choose a Blank page and start from scratch and customize however you like it. Simply click the + button to add a new block.
To set this as your homepage, simply go to
My Sites → Design → Customize → Homepage Settings → tick A Static Page option → Add New Page under Homepage → select the new page you’ve just built. This allows you to display a one-page column for your Blog Feed, About Me and Portfolio pages when you open your homepage.And just like staff-doublebassd said, if you don’t like a sidebar on your blog and want a clean and centered page, just remove them from your Widgets settings.
