Aligning Left a hyperlink image
-
Please can someone help to align left the hyperlink ‘
Click to learn more about Evolutionary Cities’ on the first front page widget (right sidebar) ‘Author: Mark Jagdev’. I have tried the align:left html code in the text widget but to no avail. But more than this, what in the css is causing it to indent without any instruction to do so?
Thanks in advance,

Will you please provide the code between backticks so we can examine it here in this forum thread.
The backtick ` not to be confused with the single quote mark ‘ is located to the left of the number 1 key in lower case under the tilde ~.

There aren’t any backtick’s, it is in a text widget, which ends with:
Mark’s website on embodied wellbeing will be announced early next year.

Sorry the code converted on the text window above! Here it is again:
Mark’s website on embodied wellbeing will be announced early next year.

I am asking you to copy the code you are having trouble with and paste it here into this forum thread between backticks so it will fully diplay here in this forum thread.

This code:
`Click to learn more about Evolutionary Cities does not contain any element in it that is causing an indentation. I don’t know why the indentation is happening. Sorry. -

Looking back at this thread I’m shaking my head. As you are not providing any code that is creating the indentation I assume it must be coming from the theme. On Demand is a premium theme and we Volunteers know diddly squat about premium themes. Read-access to the premium themes forum is now open to all users so you can search to see if your question has been previously asked and answered there. The premium theme forums are at http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/ with separate sections for each theme.
http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/on-demand/If you are not successful when searching there is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum for your theme under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but do note that the premium theme must be active and you must be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it and post to it.

timethief is correct. The extra spacing is coming from the theme. The theme happens to have a rule for the Gravatar widget to add extra spacing around links.
Here is the rule from the theme that’s causing the spacing:
.widget_gravatar a { margin: 0 10px 15px; }To remove the extra left space, add the following to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor:
.widget_gravatar a { margin-left: 0; }
