Hi srichman,
I can look into this for you. It would be great if you could make a screenshot of the image alignment you are trying to save and upload it to your Media Library.
Which post/page are you working on? Do you see any error messages when trying to save your changes?
Thanks!

I’ve tried tests to see if the alignment setting (center) was saved, and each time it was not. I get no error message. When I check the alignment, it see it says None,e. just like when I started. Repetition makes no differencFor actual posts, I’ve had to go to my laptop and center my picture there.
The screenshot is in my Library.

Hi srichman,
Thanks for the screenshot, I’ll do some testing and see if I am able to replicate this behaviour on my Android phone.
-
Hi again srichman,
The image included in your screenshot is 3024px wide however I noticed there are a number of smaller images in older posts. Did you also need to centre those on your laptop instead of your phone?
-
Most of them originated on my laptop. But in the case of the Einstein picture, I had to switch from my phone to my laptop to do the centering.

Hi srichman,
I think I have been able to replicate this but it would be great if you could double check something for me.
When I centre or right align an image, this change isn’t reflected in the editor (app) — so it looks like it hasn’t been saved. However, if I save the change and view the post in a browser, the alignment is correct. Is this also what you are seeing?
Also, which device and version of the app are you using?
-
My appl version is 9.4. I do not see a centered picture on my Chromebook either. When I leave the picture-editing screen on the app, the alignment is back at None, but the size change and caption are still there. So it’s only the alignment that is not saved.
-
Here’s a new clue: if I do not add a capture, the alignment is preserved. When I add a capture, it is not. Weird.

Hi srichman,
When I leave the picture-editing screen on the app, the alignment is back at None, but the size change and caption are still there.
The caption is the key piece of the puzzle, I can see exactly what you mean now. I’ll create a bug report for this issue so our developers can look into it further.
Thanks for reporting this.

Hi Sheldon,
We deployed an update but our developers are still working on the alignment issue you reported. Thanks for bearing with us while we look into it though.
