alignment of gallery block
-
I have added gallery block to the page https://variouslearing.wordpress.com/gallery/
Though it is center aligned, it does not appear to be. Can you please assist me?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @bim654, actually it looks centered to me. One way you can test is by adding a paragraph of content that fills the full width. Can you try that? You don’t have to update the page — just previewing it should show you what I mean.
You can also view a page here to see the content area you’d be centering in:
https://altofocusdemo.wordpress.com/readability/I did notice, for what it’s worth, that one of the images on your gallery page is showing a broken link. I’d recommend removing and re-adding that to ensure it works.

Sorry for the delay.
I have entered text to the gallery page.
However, there is more space on the right hand side than on the left, and visually it does not seem to be centered.

Digging a bit deeper into this, for some reason this does appear to be an intentional design decision by the theme’s designer.
For example, see https://altofocusdemo.wordpress.com/image-alignment-and-styles/
It can be changed via Custom CSS: https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/custom-css/
Specifically this:
.page .hentry.page .entry-header .entry-title, .page .hentry.page .entry-content { width: calc(75%); }Just increase 75% all the way up to 100% as desired.

However, on the free plan, we cannot change it via CSS>
So I suppose there is no way except to change the theme, am I right?

Correct, this can only be changed via CSS, so you’ll need to either upgrade to a Premium plan or higher, or choose a different theme.
