All content is gone and theme changed
-
I just set up this wordpress site and set a new theme (Adelle) and added several pages as well as a post.
All of a sudden it is back to a theme I was viewing yesterday. All content is gone.
Any suggestions? I have refreshed and checked the site from multiple sources (2 laptops, tablet, and phone).
Any help is appreciated,

I see content and the Adelle theme using Firefox 26.1. After you change your theme all you need to do is go here Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and re-install them where you want them to appear. The widget contents and settings will be the same as they were prior to changing themes. You may also want to go to > Appearance > Menus and set your custom menu up again.

I can see now that you don’t understand how to set up a custom menu.
Please read this first Post vs. Page http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
(1) There is only one page we can post to in any blog.
(2) The static pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ we bloggers create do not automatically update.Only the dynamic pages like Archives, Categories and Tags created by the software when we publish a post will update automatically update with new posts.
By default the front page of the blog is the Page that displays all posts in your blog. You can create a static front page and have your published posts display on another page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ but doing that does not change what follows.
Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.
This guide will walk you through how to create category pages for your blog, to display groupings of similar posts on pages other than your front page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/
Create a custom menu

Add dynamic categories and sub-categories pages to it

Create order and sub-menus (dropdowns)

There are many common errors, misunderstandings and misconceptions when creating custom menus and there are some tweaks you can use to improve your custom menu as well.

P.S. This will also interest you. It’s a brand new feature http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2014/01/07/foodie-bloggers-listen-up/

Thank you so much! I am quite confused by some of the features. I previously used a different software and I am not going to claim to be any schooled expert. I appreciate your help.
I believe part of the problem is that when I changed the title and header text of my blog, it somehow created a second blog…but with the same web address. So when I go to Manage My Blogs….I see two names there with the same address. It is switching back and forth between them and once one is there, it seems to stick. Any advice on eliminating the second title while keeping all the content in the first?

DELETE NOTHING! Blog URL deletion is irreversible.
I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

I promise to wait. Thanks again for your help. I’m going to read the other items you sent. :)

Not to worry as Staff will work their way forward through threads with earlier datestamps and timestamps and get to this one and help as as soon as they can.
P.S. I do believe reading through that information will be very helpful as understanding custom menu set up isn’t particularity easy at first. Once you get it you will never forget it though.

I’ve fixed this for you by renaming the duplicate blog. You should now be able to use the one blog without confusion.
