All content lost when trying to change the domain
-
Last week or so I changed the domain name of my blog from whenthefigsareripe.wordpress.com to spenardianbyblood.wordpress.com. It worked, everything transferred over and it was exactly the same but with the new address. Just what I wanted. I didn’t visit the site for a matter of days. A couple days ago my friend told me she couldn’t see my site, spenardianbyblood, and that ‘it didn’t exist’. She tried whenthefigsareripe and it worked. I didn’t have time until this evening to go in and fix it. only to find out that now, neither of the addresses work. Spenardianbyblood is apparently unregistered while whenthefigsareripe does not exist. Under both site dashboards no blog posts have been published. This is more than concerning taking into account that hours and hours of work have been put into content on my blog, only to find out it has disappeared for some unknown reason. I’ve lost pictures and stories from trips to Asia and family recipes that will be difficult to recover. Not to mention pictures I can never recover. I don’t know what to do, as it appears on the dashboard that I no longer have a blog, only two useless domains. If someone can please explain why this happened and how I can recover my missing content I would be eternally grateful. If not I will be forced to start over, most likely with a different service.
Thank you,
Victoria

Hi! I checked whenthefigsareripe.wordpress.com, and it seems like all your content is there. (Phew!) But what’s strange is when I click on “Read More” on your posts, it forwards to spenardianbyblood.
