All Cover Blocks got reset

    My site makes a lot of use from the Cover block. Today when I wanted to edit a sub site I noticed that as soon as I open the Block editor the alignments of the Cover Blocks that were set to wide or full were reset.

    It’s all squished toghether. Why did this happen? Do I need to manually fix each of the blocks now?

    Hi there, I did some work and was able to duplicate a bug and report the issue. For now, if you explicitly set the alignment for your blocks to full width, does that help? Click the block and click on the alignment option to specify full / wide width.

    I can do that but it will take me lot’s of time to get it like it was before. Since I use the cover block as brackround I literally have to do it all again.
    It’s not only the sites, all of blogposts use at least one cover block.
    Something I should add: The reapeat background option in the cover block is bugged too. It doesn’t matter if you turn it on or off it won’t repeat the background.

    The repeated background tends to work best when the image is smaller and when the background is fixed.

    I’ve not been able to replicate the bug regarding the repeated images there.

    Thanks for your help but I’m curious why it has been working properly all the time but suddenly ditched on me. Like I said it’s not just on the sites it happened with all the Cover Blocks I’ve been using in blogposts.

    I found something else off while trying to rebuild a part of the starting page.
    In the Cover Block settings you can specify which part of the image should be seeen. Before it all worked great and the image you’d see in the editor was exactly the same as in the live version. Now it’s off by a few margins as seen here
