All I see on my blog is "Hello World"

When I go to my blog, I see the original front page, with the “Hello World” post, on a black and grey background. I should see the theme called Albeo, white and pastel, with two posts, and two more pages after the Home page. I think other people can see the real blog, because I get the odd comment (with e-mail notification), and I can get to my Dashboard and approve that, but I can’t go to my blog and see my posts and comments.
Also, in my Dashboard, under Blogs on the grey menu bar, I see fightingbackagain twice. Both of those, and the blog name link under the grey menu bar, all take me to the black Hello World page.
Have I done something wrong? What? And how can I fix it? I have a backup of everything I wrote, but I hope I won’t have to rebuild the blog.

Yes, it was back, but yes, it’s happening again. I cleared my browser’s cache and Temporary Internet Files (after reading some other forum posts) but that didn’t seem to change anything.
When I look at “Manage Blogs” I have two blogs with identical names; one is marked as Primary. I daren’t delete one in case it’s the real one … is this part of the problem? It just feels odd.

The site linked to your username is showing up for me and is using Albeo.
But that doesn’t explain why you have two blogs with the same name under “My Blogs”. I’m sure that staff can sort it out for you.

One can name any blog anything, so it’s possible that the OP has named two blogs with different URLs the same.
I wonder if that is the case here. Me: I have several blogs with very similar names (different URLs), and because they appear on the dropdown under “My Blogs” according to their names (not URLs) I get confused myself.

Under Manage Blogs I see two blogs, both named fightingbackagain and both with URL fightingbackagain.wordpress.com .
I’m fairly sure I only made one blog.
A couple of years ago I made a blog with a different name, URL, username and e-address, so I don’t imagine that’s got confused with this one.
About an hour ago, I got into my blog! I edited my newest post, but when I clicked Publish I got a message like “You have tried to edit an item which doesn’t exist” and I couldn’t get back in to my blog.
Now you see it, now you don’t …

Then I think this is an issue for staff to deal with. Apparently support is closed for the weekend, but you might try to contact them this way:
support@wordpress.comI’ll also leave the thread as “modlook” so we can hope that someone will see it and be able to help. (I’m a mod, but a volunteer so I can’t help you.)

And now I can get back in, read my posts, and see the other pages.
And the edit I did earlier has worked, although I got that error message.
It would be really interesting to know what causes the oddity.

One week on, and I can’t get into my blog at all. Friends can’t, either. Under Blogs – Manage Blogs, I have two blogs. Both names are fightingbackagain, both URLs are fightingbackagain.wordpress.com . Both of their Dashboards say Posts:1, Pages:1, Categories:1 where I had made 2 posts, I had 2 pages besides my home page, and there were 2 comments. Please, please fix it – it’s no use as it is, if I can’t write and no-one can read it.

I don’t know if this might help anyone.When I go to your blog I see the ‘hello world’ page, but I just tried adding the blog to my RSS feed and in Google Reader I can see two posts: First Post and The Kraken Wakes.
So whatever is happening must be on the WordPress end, I’d think.

Just now, I logged in to wordpress; it took me to my dashboard, which said Posts:2, Pages:2, Comments:3 … looking good … but when I used the link just under the grey menu bar, that took me to the “Hello, World” version; and coming back to my dashboard I found Posts:1, Pages:1, Comments:0.
Most odd, indeed.
And I too have an RSS feed into my Google Reader, and that (mostly) takes me to “Hello, World”.
I really don’t think I made two blogs with the same name and URL – I think I would have noticed – and I promise I was paying attention (smile).

@margerya… odd things sometimes happen here… I doubt it’s anything you’ve done! Contact support or if you have wait til you hear from them (they take a bit of time) and in the meantime – if you like – send me an email via my contact form (remind me what it’s about in the subject and make sure you include your email address) I’ll send you the content of the two posts via Google Reader.

PS, this is not related to what I just said above, if I can I shall still send you the content of the two messages, but when I click on ‘Add a Comment’ via your posts in Google Reader, I get this error message:The page isn’t redirecting properly
