All image captions have disappeared

I just noticed that all my blog’s image captions are gone. At first I thought they only didn’t show, but they’ve actually disappeared in the text editing boxes as well. The images are still there, and so are all other normal (otherbthan caption) texts.
The other day I tweaked my blog a bit: adding categories and widgets, for example. I also looked at other themes but never effectively changed my theme (I only looked at examples). But maybe it has something to do with that.
At any rate, I’d very much like to restore my image captions or at least know what caused them to disappear so I can prevent this from happening again.

I looked at your blog and all the images have their captions underneath. Have you tried clearing your browsers cache and cookies?

Hi, thanks for your response! All images have their captions again because I put them all back manually, one by one. (Fortunately, I’d saved all my texts.)
I suspect this just couldn’t have been a cache issue. Almost all captions had actually disappeared from the posts’ texts in the editing boxes, whereas all non-caption texts were still there.
Maybe it has something to do with me editing WordPress from different platforms (my PC, my iPad and my HTC phone)?
At any rate, I’m slightly worried that the problem will repeat itself. Thanks for tagging it to the staff’s attention!

Hm, that is rather odd. As far as I can tell, the images didn’t have captions until you added them.
Please let us know if that ever happens again!
