All images deleted from Media Library

  I stupidly and accidentally deleted all images from the media library while mucking around with some advanced settings 😢.

  The big delete probably happened around 20-22 Nov 2013 and it’s only just come to my attention. Any help by anyone would be much appreciated. This blog means so much more with the photos. SO HELP HELP HELP!!! Thanks. Dee

  I’m so sorry but it’s far too long after the fact to expect restoration. The images are in Google’s cache and you can retrieve them from there.

  Thank you timethief! Does this mean I have to reload each image manually? Atleast they’re all in one place I suppose….

  Is there some miraculous way to un-delete and restore and reset the media library? Is this something WordPress staff can do??

  Yes it means you have to upload each one again.

  It’s not something many do but it does have bad consequences which is why I blogged on it in OMG! My images are gone.

  Timethief is correct. Once media has been deleted, we will not be able to restore it. You’ll need to add your images back manually.
