  While plugins are common on self hosted WordPress sites, due to security concerns, they are not available on WordPress.com. There is more info regarding WordPress.com and plugins here:

  So if I want to help boost my SEO, I am going to need to rebuild my site via wordpress.org correct?

  Also, am I understanding this right, if I ever want to run ads on my site it would need to be through wordpress.org not wordpress.com correct?

  I plan on launching a merchandising store in early 2014. Is this support by the current Gridespace theme I am using via WordPress.com?

  In general, the SEO of WordPress.com far outpaces anything I have seen from a free plugin. But yes, if you want to use the All in one SEO plugin, you will need to set up a self-hosted WordPress.org site. The same is true for running advertising.

  I’m not quite sure what you mean by this. However, if you are asking about a shopping cart ecommerce system, that is not a feature that is available on WordPress.com.

  Let me make sure I am understanding this right…wordpress.com and any customized themes that are supported via wordpress.com already have an SEO built into it?

  If so, can you send me a link regarding the SEO so I can make sure that I am doing everything necessary to get the best results from it.
