All my blog entries deleted (permanently?) Can I use backup to get them back?
-
I have a person helping with my WordPress site that deleted all of our blog posts and might have deleted everything from the trash too (there is nothing in the trash). I heard that WordPress.com has a built in back up feature but I could only find the instructions for WordPress.org on how to restore from a backup. Please tell me how I can restore WordPress.com posts (if I can.) Thanks

If you have a paid plan (premium, business), you will have to open a support ticket with them.
See below for details:

It looks like backup is not automatic? I would think it would just backup automatically by a certain period in time.

Hi there,
If a post or page has been permanently deleted from your site by an authorized user, there is no way to recover it, so be very careful when permanently deleting anything from your site.
However, you might be able to recover a post or page using Google’s cache. Here are the instructions on how to do it:

Oh fantastic! I was able to get almost all of it out the cache. There was only a few things I needed to recreate. Thanks for the suggestion!

You’re welcome!
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you. I’m happy to help.
