All my followers and bits on the side of blog have disappeared.

    I have done something, have no idea what, but all my followers and the bits I had on the side of the blog have disappeared. How do I get them back?

    Hi there,

    I just checked the widgets section of your blog and there is currently no active widgets. Did you happen to make any updates to this section of your blog? I saw that you switched themes recently – that may have altered the layout of your blog and disabled your previously used widgets.

    Let me know if you remember anything you did that leading up to the disappearance of your sidebar.

    Thanks so much. I have them all up again. Duh, so simple, I’ve done it before. Just have to work out how to put my Goodreads link in….. I’ll get there.
    Sorry I have more questions – I can’t get home in the menu, it automatically flicks to the blog page. I want to have an actual home page, a blog page and two other pages as well as the three pages already there. Can I do that? And what is the best way to do that without losing the stuff already on the blog?
    Sorry, I have two problems, age and I keep pressing the wrong keys!

    Hi there,

    Your settings are set up for your front page to display you posts, so you can set up your home page as your front page and your blog page as your post page.

    After you create your pages, you can go to the menu section of your dashboard to add your pages to the navigation menu.
