All my pages look the same when on website view, but not when editing???

So I’ve very recently started to build my site but I have all my pages looking like how I want them to while editing. When I got to website view and click the links/buttons on my homepage they all go to the right pages but they all have the same content and don’t show what they’re meant to.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

I noticed that when I visit your theme template manager, I can see that you have customized a few page templates on your site: Theme Templates

Generally speaking it’s fine to edit the Home template, since it’s only used for one page on your site (the homepage.) But it’s a little trickier to edit the Page template, since that template is used as the basis for multiple pages on your site. In this case when you edit the Page template, you can sometimes remove the ability it has to correctly show the content from the individual pages you have set up on the site.

For now I think the fastest fix will be for you to reset the Page template. You can do it at the Template pages link I shared above, then when you are on that page look for this option:

This will allow the template functionality to be restored (so it can correctly show the contents of each page that uses it) and then you can build the layout of each page individually as you have started to do already.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
