all my posts suddenly disappeared: blog is empty: HELP ME!!!

  help! all my posts desappeared – I am running this blog: http://www.deelaypress.wordpress.com since a long time, and since 2 days the blog is empty! what is happening? This is a serious problem for my job.

  The blog I am talking about is a free one, but I own 2 other blogs (which I pay for – and they are fine by now) on wordpress: might the difference be in the fact that is a free one and have security problems or bugs? I’ve been reading in forums about this and it looked like it happens for mysterious reasons to free ones..?

  I am desperate please help me: this is the second help request: first one was private but got no answer whatsoever..

  Hi Giulio,

  It looks like you deleted a lot of content 4 days ago. Did you do this? Do you think that someone else might have gotten access to your account?

  If so, please immediately change your password to a strong, unique password:
  Selecting a Strong Password

  I’d also suggest changing your email password as well.

  hello Eurello,

  my blog is empty: so I should have deleted everything… but i didn’t. I’ve been reading that there are circustamces in which this happened because of bugs: are you sure the only option is that i’ve been hacked?

  is there any way to check if I’ve been hacked? I’m forwarding this to my lawyer: can you help me find what happened and who got into my account?

  is there anyway to recover my posts?

  This was definitely not a bug. We can see the activity on your blog, and your user account deleted a great deal of content four days ago. If you did not do this yourself, I can only assume someone else logged into your account and did it. :(

  When was the last time you recall logging into your account yourself?

  i did log in 4 days ago but i erased only 3 posts. I added the tags to all the posts, which might have attracted someone’s attention, and I added something in the CSS.

  At this point I also have a suspect about possible hacking, but I also found people talking in yahoo forum about posts desappearing after editing CSS.

  Can you look at the IP of who erase everything?

  Can you recover my posts?

  I’m sending you an email so we can sort this out, but to clarify for anyone else who comes across this, there’s no way editing CSS would delete any of your content. CSS only modifies the appearance of your theme.

  do you have an idea about why and how this happened? I used a unique password for this account and it’s strange I’ve been hacked. I had 27 posts and the only thing I did was deleting 4 of them and writing CSS: if I could get to understand why this happened I can feel safe..
