All my text widgets just disappeared in 2010 Theme

  All of my text widgets just disappeared now. The other widgets are still in place. But the ones I customized with the text widget just died. They’ve been there for months. I wasn’t messing with anything at all. I wasn’t even in my dashboard. They’re just gone.

  I’m using the 2010 Theme.

  So is there a fast way of getting them back? Or do I just need to remake all of them?

  It’s fine now. I just went back and re-added all of them. Took some time, but I figured it’s faster than waiting for a reply. And I was right.

  If that happens, always check the “inactive” widgets area down on the bottom. Generally they all should go there if you switch themes or something and down there they will keep whatever you have in them.

  Thanks for the suggestion.

  They weren’t in the inactive widgets either. They just vanished. I also haven’t changed themes for weeks.

  It’s a minor inconvenience but I fixed it the hard way. I’m really appreciative of all the free service wordpress has given me. It sure would be nice to know what happened exactly in case something else like this happens again.
