All my website posts suddenly disappeared

    I was in the middle of publishing a post when I got an error that reads ‘error establishing a database connection’ ..

    I’d received it couple of times in the past weeks (mostly when I’m having good traffic) and my hosting company fix it at the time.

    Again, I rushed down to my hosting company to complain and while I was being attended to, I refreshed and realized all posts has been deleted. Thought the rep was working on it.. only for the rep to tell me I don’t have any post on the website.

    While I’m looking into backup (although not updated) I’m worried and concerned about what really happened.

    Can someone please share an insight on might have caused the total deletion.. including my website Yoast Meta description.

    According to my hosting company: ‘We can investigate such issues in real-time only. You can contact us when the issue persists. We will check if there is anything we can help you with.’
    Could it be an attack or some sort of error from my hosting company ?

    Experienced and knowledgeable people please!
