All my widgets have disappeared

  Hello,

  I seem to be having the same issue that was reported a few years ago, where widgets are disappearing from the widget area and are moving into the inactive widget space.

  I am running WP 4.7.2, and cannot for the life of me explain what’s going on.

  There also doesn’t seem to be a pattern of when this occurs. I’ve noticed it happening almost on its own, without anyone logging into the admin area.
