All my WordPress website ‘Featured Images’ are showing as black squares on my homepage posts. Well I say ‘All’, but that is apart from one that is a ‘Sticky Post’ that is on there (may be a coincidence?)
When you open a post, the Featured image shows there OK, it is just all the homepage summary posts that are black squares.
Help would be gratefully received! Thank you.

Hi there,
I do not see any sites under your @info3008174 WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.
Is it possible you created your site under a different login? Is it the case that you are using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?
Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

Hiya staff-totoro,
I’ve tried adding my existing site but it then tries to make me pay for another one (?)
I have put it somewhere else now on my profile.
Your that’s ok.
Many thanks. -
Hi there!
To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.
We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
You can find more details about WordPress.com and WordPress.org on this support page:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
Since there are no sites under your WordPress.com account, you’re probably talking about a site hosted elsewhere. We cannot help with these; you will want to post to the community forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.
If you’re not sure where your site is hosted (who do you pay for your hosting services), you can share your site’s address in a reply here, and we’ll confirm.
