All new pages, menus, media, plugins disappeared

    I have done a lot of work on the website recently. Then suddenly, all the new pages (about 10), media (20+ images and a PDF), menus (3), Elementor headers (3), and new plugins installed all suddenly disappeared. ALL CHANGES made to the website disappeared without trace suddenly. I have checked trash, revisions, even the database and there is no trace.

    What could have happened, and how can I recover them? It was a to of work. I have, over time, worked on over 50 WordPress websites and I have never encountered this.

    Hi,

    It seems like you might be facing difficulties with a self-hosted WordPress.org website, and not with a WordPress.com-hosted one. WordPress.org is a free site-engine software, while WordPress.com is a web hosting company.
