All of my menus no longer "contain" my pages…
-
I used to have several menus, with pages within them. Now instead, I have all of the pages separately showing along with the menus.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Maybe you accidentally assigned them differently..?
Like if you go to pages, listing all of them it seems to me that you would have to assign them to the ‘Parent’ again.. also do the same with the menus, to check them and create the widgets again. It could have happened ‘by default’ if you recently tried out a new theme..
Sometimes it also saves them in ‘unused’ widget area. Other times you’ll have to make them again.. but they still should be under menus, to re allocate them can be a pest…

The pages all seem to be assigned to (under) their respective menu – when checking dashboard | appearance | menu
-
-
I’d still check the dashboard / pages / all pages….. to define what pages have which ‘parent page’..

Can I relink the pages to the menu from dashboard | pages | all pages?

re: changing the order of Pages, not Posts
There are two approaches.
1. If you have only pages in your horizontal menu and that’ is all you want in it see here to use numerical order. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-attributes/#order2. Creating a Custom Menu http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#creating-a-custom-menu
Adding Pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-pages
Changing the Order & Creating Sub-Menus http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#changing-the-order-creating-sub-menusCustom menu Troubleshooting – My pages are in the wrong order
Check the sub-pages themselves to see if you have established a Parent page and child page “hierarchical structure” in the page attributes module. Remove if required. Also remove any “order” numbers you have assigned that may conflict with the order you are creating by dropping and dragging. Or simply change them so they are the same order as you establish in the menu. Establish consistency – problem solved.

It looks like one of two things was done. Either you
1. unchecked “Primary Navigation” at Menu Settings on your Custom Menus page, thereby leaving the inherent page hierarchy (according to your Page Attributes settings) to display in the header navigation bar. But you have no page hierarchy, no assigned attributes, so all 19 pages display as orphans without children.
2. removed the structure from your custom menu(s), thereby causing each page to show as an orphan without children.

” unchecked “Primary Navigation” at Menu Settings on your Custom Menus page,…”
That was it! Everything back to normal – Thanks musicdoc1.
