All of my posts have the same date
-
So, I have a new-ish blog, and all of my posts have the same date. If I go to edit, the ‘published’ date is correct, but on the site, at the top of the post, the date that is displayed to any website visitor is the date of the last edit.
For example, I have a post from June. When I uploaded a new post today, August 1, the date on that old post suddenly changed to match the date of the new post, so that both posts are dated publicly to August 1. The ‘published’ date is correct in the one from June, and it’s also showing up under the month of June on the sidebar, but any reader would think it was a new post. I feel frustrated; I don’t have a custom date format, so it’s not as though I’ve inadvertently locked myself in to the current day and time. Any help is very, very much appreciated, as I can’t have all my posts automatically changing their dates to match the date of the most recent post.

Hi there,
I checked your site and it appears you’re in the wrong forum. Although your site is connected to WordPress.com via Jetpack, it is using the open-source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums
These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. Since we do not have access to self-hosted WordPress.org sites, we are unable to provide any direct assistance to your issue. I would also reach out to your site host for help.
If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can read this document:
Thanks!
