All Pictures aligned to the left
-
I don’t know how this has happened, but all my pictures have been randomly aligned to the left! And I know the simple thing to do would be to click on the picture and click the ‘Align Center’ button, but for most of the pictures when I do that it aligns the first word to the left instead! Has anybody else had trouble like this? Or am I the only one? And does anybody know a way to make them all align back to the center? And the weirdest thing is that when I go to the HTML it says that the pictures are allinged to the center, but they aren’t comeing out that way!

You’re not the only one. There are a few workarounds in this thread:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=30619&replies=83I would suggest you contact staff if ALL your images have changed alignment. They should be able to fix the code that did that.

I have that problem frequently. I have not discovered the cause. Sometimes I enter a lot of spaces before the picture an sometimes it solve the problem and sometimes it does not solve anything (?)

I generally use the column alignment buttons, but staff changed the way pictures go in the posts yesterday. Now you can change alignment via the Mountain Icon on the image itself when you’re posting.

Staff said in the mega-thread that you need to contact them if all your images changed alignment.

All images could very well have changed alignment if you were using one of the alignments that didn’t have the CSS in your theme yet. The best fix is to edit the post, click on the image once to bring up the new image toolbar over the image, click the picture icon, and then make changes to the image options.

I am not getting to the facility of choosing the right FONT. That option is not turned on. Please help.

I am a newbie. I’m fairly pleased with the free template I’m using and think I’ve figured out how to format images in my post as best as allowed by the template.
But when I select the option to set the image to the left of text, it places the picture flush left and dumps all text below the image. I tried several times to re-edit the image, and re-selected the image placement to left of text by using the radio button option. It will often appear correctly for a while in the edit window. But as soon as I go to view that page, it defaults the image back to flush left with all text underneath the image.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?
Thanks for any help provided.

“Radio button?”
If you’re aligning the image by clicking on the Mountain icon which appears on the image itself in the edit view, that should work just fine. Is that what you’re doing?

Hello Raincoaster,
It was set properly in the beginning when I first inserted the image. I have attempted to re-set it using the Mountain icon also, several times. The settings indicate that the text should be wrapping to the right of the image but that isn’t happening. I can see maybe the top post not doing that because of the widgets to the right of that post taking up space. But not the older posts which have the images formatted the same way and also have all text dumped below the image.
Any other suggestions?
Per Wiki:
“A radio button or option button is a type of graphical user interface widget that allows the user to choose one of a predefined set of options. They were named after the physical buttons used on car radios to select preset stations – when one of the buttons was pressed, other buttons would pop out, leaving the pressed button the only button in the “pushed in” position.” -
Your images are so large that there is no room for text on either side of them. I think that’s your main problem.
