All Posts and Pages Gone
-
Logging into the account today we can see that every post has gone and there is nothing in the deleted folder and the activity log is empty. Is there any way to see what’s happened? We don’t know if there’s a technical glitch or we are victims of sabotage. We know the site was working about a month ago.
The site I need help with is w29family.wordpress.com.

Hi there!
From looking at our logs, it seems that all the content from your site was removed around a month ago. This was done from your account.
If this was not you, and you’re worried that someone has accessed your account, you should change your password to a strong one and set the two-factor authentication to tighten the security of your account:
Also, you should consider enabling two-factor authentication, to increase the security of your account:
https://wordpress.com/support/security/two-step-authentication/.
Also, bear in mind that for someone to reset your password, they would have to have access to your email address – I’d suggest changing your email password as well.

Thanks for checking. Is there any way at all that we can get the content back? Is it stored on a database somewhere? Also is there any way we can get any information about where it was accessed from?
-
The content cannot be restored, as it was deleted by your account.
The only additional information we can share is that the IP address used when logged in under your account was from Warsaw, Poland.Wayback Machine, which is an internet archive for websites, could help. Here’s what they have for your site: https://web.archive.org/web/20190501000000*/w29family.wordpress.com
You can copy text from that site into new posts and pages you create on your original site the content was deleted from. Not a perfect solution but one we hope helps.

Thank you for your help and thanks for the idea with Wayback Machine. Unfortunately, only a few posts were saved there but every post is valuable.
Is it at all possible to tell us the exact time and day that it was deleted? Also is it possible to get the exact IP address? -
Regarding Wayback Machine actually I realize now that although the parent pages weren’t saved the blog posts can be reached by using the sideways navigation.
-
We cannot reveal the exact IP address, but I can confirm that it is from Warsaw.
The deletions took place May 23, from 15:15 to 15:26 UTC.
