All Posts Do Not Appear in WordPress Reader

    I am a longtime WordPress.com user.

Recently, I have had issues with my posts not showing up in the WordPress Reader. This started a few days back when I was moving some posts from an old blog to my current one. This resulted in about 5 posts in one day.

Since that time, if I publish more than one post per day, only one post appears in the reader. It seems when I post the following day, the post from the previous day then magically appears in Reader. It has the correct time stamp which of course buries the post in the prior days feed so that it gets easily missed because of the volume of posts in the Reader.

I have checked my feed and the post appears there and is delivered to email followers. This results in many of my posts getting missed by those who only follow my blog in Reader.

I do use the WordPress app and often revert to the dashboard in WP-admin for some functions unavailable in the app.

I have researched and have checked that I do not exceed the number of tags and categories recommended.

    The blog in question is:

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi there,

I don’t see any problem with your site’s feed, and all posts recently published on https://fromcavewalls.wordpress.com/ appears in the feed at https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/87279163

Next time a post doesn’t appear, let us know here immediately so we can take a look.

I have researched and have checked that I do not exceed the number of tags and categories recommended.

The number of categories and tags only determine whether or not your posts appear in the tag search section. Even if you use a hundred tags, that won’t prevent your posts from appearing in the Reader feed for your followers – nothing can prevent a public, published post from appearing there.
