All posts of the same category

Hello everyone.
I’m new to WordPress and also new to blogging. Before I start blogging i want to complete the design of my blog.
Right now i’m a little confused.
My problem: If a category is klicked, i want all posts of this category to be shown. Not the whole text, but i would be satisfied if the headlines with a few sentence or a describtion are visible. Right now there is only one post shown and you have to click “older posts” to see the one before that.
If i come across a blog that gives an example for my idea i will post it.
I hope my writting is not the worst. I’m not used to write in english :)Greetz Nemecrosius

You can change the number of posts on your home page (which will also alter the number of posts on category and archive pages).
Settings—>Reading—>”Blog pages show at most”—>SaveTwenty Ten will show archives, categories, and tags as custom excerpts:
