  I am having all sorts of troubles getting into my site. In fact, I really can’t even find it. The web page is Vollmecke orchards and CSA. I used the farm email address as my user name and changed the password. It appears as though it changed to [redactign password] and i can’t even get into that. I am so confused. Perhaps this may be done by phone or email?? Not sure. I suppose what i really want it to change the user name and password and start over. However, when i went to do that, i could not prove the site was mine. What a mess.

  Hi @farm711, would you please send a link to the site? This should start with https:// and end in .com — and it should not have any spaces.

  Hi @farm711, this is a self-managed copy of WordPress through another hosting provider. It’s quite different from a site that is on our servers.

  And since your site is not here on our servers, we don’t have access to help you regain access. But I may be able to point you in the right direction.

  First contact your host to be sure you have backups and can access the hosting side of your site, then read all of these these instructions from WordPress.org to determine which method you want to use to regain access to your installation:

  As long as you can log into your hosting account, you should be able to regain access. If you need more help, head to to the forums for self-hosted sites at https://wordpress.org/support
