All the Admins are no longer on wordpress. I’d like to revive the site

    A decade ago, there was a really good idea that I was participating in, which was a collective group of essays, poems, and other types of writing. I was just a contributor, but the admins themselves abandoned the page and the website entirely. I still like the idea and have remained likely the only one of the contributors still with a profile, and would like to become the admin so I can try to revive it with a new legion of writers and artists.

    The only person who can make you an Admin on your site is another Admin. And the best way to do that is to have the person who originally registered the site (site owner) on WordPress.com to transfer ownership of the site to your account. https://wordpress.com/support/transfer-a-site/

    Barring that, there’s no other way to do this.

    If you do become the Admin (site owner) and plan to invite others to contribute to your site, be aware of User Roles and what they can and cannot do. https://wordpress.com/support/invite-people/user-roles/
