All Time Top Posts & Pages

    Hello, I’ve seen that it has already been asked for an upgrade in the widget: Top Posts & Pages, in order to show posts from all time and not just from the last 24-48 hours. Can someone answer me if this feature is going to be added?

    Also, is there any alternative to show auto-generated Top Posts from a longer period of just 24-48 hours?

    Hi Lazaros,

    Unfortunately, no such Widget has been added to show Top Posts & Pages more than the last 48 hours. It’s an excellent idea, the request might be in place, you could also post the request in the ideas forum –– and it would get noted again.

    There is no alternative to show an auto-generated Top Post. But there could be a Work Around. You could add a Text Widget to the Sidebar. Use the title as “Top Posts” and in the description manually add the Posts using Display Posts Shortcode service.

    To make it more authentic, you can check your Top Posts from your Stats page and display them. I just made a quick demo for you at the bottom of the sidebar here.

    Another way to get this in place to be auto-generated –– would be by using one of the Plugins from the list of ideas in this search result. To be able to use the plugins you have to be a Business Plan subscriber.

    Also, I could not spot the link to the blog you are referring –– if you could share the URL I could have a closer.

    Hello,

    thanks for your reply. I will post it in the ideas section as you suggested!

    I also thought of the Display Posts shortcode, but since it does not have an option to automatically show the Top Posts, it wouldn’t fit!

    Let’s hope that they will integrate this feature in the near future!
