I am using Firefox 23 and see images so if you don’t you most likely have a browser related issue.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/
(a) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
If applicable see here for instructions on how to clear the cache for Chrome and Safari on the iPad:
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/safari-ipad-clear-cache.htm
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/How-To-Clear-Browsing-Data-In-Chrome-For-Ipad_6.htm(b) Make sure that you have both third-party cookies enabled and JavaScript enabled
http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654(c) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily.
(d) Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Add both *.wordpress.com and *.wp.com to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions
4. Try using another browser.
5. If you are not successful let us know:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/
(c) And what any error reports you receive state. -
Hey,
Thank you for the detailed answer, I have tried accessing the site from another laptop too but it didn’t help either. So I figure this is not a browser or a system issue. I am using chrome and have tried firefox too.None of the images are displayed and the only the texts, urls and the forms are visible. Background is blank and white. I have tried everything that you have listed in the answer but none of it solved the problem. What possibly can be the issue? Maybe I can send you a screenshot of how the site appears in my browser. -
You might have an ISP issue – who is your ISP and where are you accessing the internet from? (country)
Could you test these links and let us know if you can access them? What you should see is a bunch of text (CSS actually). If you can access some, but not all, let us know which you cannot access.

I am accessing the internet from India and ISP is Beam. I changed my ISP(tried to access it at work) but it still has the same issue.
None of these links work for me though. Each of them gives a “Oops Google chrome could not find the page” error. Is there a way to resolve this?

All three of those links ought to have worked for you. I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Oh, well the firefox didn’t seem to resolve the problem? Now I think it might be an ISP issue. Apparently. I used yet another ISP and the website appeared back to normal.Do you know how to resolve the problem so that I can access the wp website using my current ISP?
