All your info is too advanced for me.

Customizer does not appear when I hoover over my blogs name. My blog’s name is just a mush-up string of letters. No CAPS, or spaces — unreadable. What ‘dashboard’? Only 3 icons — only one useful. What gives? And Why do ‘they’ assume I know what CSS stands for or what it does.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, and welcome to WordPress.com. Perhaps you should start with the tutorials. You can either read them, or watch the video tutorials. They’ll cover most of the basics: http://learn.wordpress.com/ or http://en.support.wordpress.com/video-quick-start/
You can also check out the Bloggin U course on the staff blog, The Daily Post, which has interactive blogging assignments and where you can get help from staff members and volunteers in learning the ropes: https://dailypost.wordpress.com/blogging-university/
Regarding your blog name: Right now it matches your URL (blog address), so there are no spaces. You can change the blog title that displays at the top of your site from General Settings, either via the My Sites page, here: https://wordpress.com/settings/general/magicalmomentswithtangles.wordpress.com or via the WP-Admin dashboard, here: https://magicalmomentswithtangles.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php Changing the site title only changes what displays at the top of the blog, not the address. You can’t have spaces or capital letters in the address.
Keep in mind, however, that your theme displays the blog title in ALL CAPS, so even if you set your title to have upper and lowercase letters, your specific theme will still display it with only capital letters.
At this point you don’t really need to know what CSS stands for. It’s a type of computer code that controls the appearance of a website and you only need it if you want to do advanced customization of your site. You also need an upgrade to use it. You can read this support doc for more info on CSS if you’re interested: https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/css-basics/
You can also see this glossary for explanations of the most commonly used terms on WordPress.com: https://en.support.wordpress.com/lexicon/
If you need more help with anything specific, please feel free to ask here :)

Whew! Thank you so much! I didn’t see any Tutorial messages, or links.
Best wishes, Tracy -
It used to be if you clicked on Get Started on the support home page (https://en.support.wordpress.com/) you’d find them, but they’re hidden away these days for some unfathomable reason. I think staff are trying to push people toward doing the Blogging U course instead.
But now you know where they are. Let us know if you need more help :)
