Allow anonymous comments via xmlrpc on the website?

  I’d like to allow adding comments to a post via xmlrpc on my wordpress.com blog (i.e., not a local installation of WordPress). Is there any way to do this? I know there’s a widget available for locally-installed copies of wordpress, but it doesn’t seem to exist for the website yet. Thanks!

  The XML-RPC API in WordPress has methods for managing comments, including submitting new ones.
