Allow Author roles to embed.

  Is there anyway to give people assigned the Author role permissions to embed videos like youtube, video.google or flash in posts? I’d like to let them be able to do that since the only role that’s allowed to embed is the administrative.

  I’ve looked for an answer, but found none due to my craptacular searching skills.

  I’m not sure why you’re running into this problem. As far as I’m aware, they are perfectly able to post YouTube, Google, or other approved video formats in WordPress.com blogs. Are they using the proper form as described in the FAQ? Simply using the embed code or trying to put flash in will never work, of course.

  Can I add flash? video? Embed other media?
