Sigh. Count me among the many who want to embed a Google Map built with the new Map Engine.
Please, please, please, WordPress.com! Do it!

adding my vote to the discussion. Now moving to my own host for my next three sites… Shame!

Another vote, would be good to at least get some feedback from wordpress.com arround this topic either to embed Google map engine, Bing Maps or Here Maps.

I do feel a little better to see this problem is not just me. Let us know when there is a fix.

I would love for my class of 14 multimedia journalism students to be able to embed Google Maps Engine maps in their WordPress blogs and pages. Since I learned about it at an Online News Association workshop last year, it’s safe to say there are a lot of leading-edge online journalists who would like to see this made possible. Thanks!

WordPress could at least tell us if this is going to be fixed or not? And if it is, how long do they predict it is going to take.

I would also like to see this function available! Just started a blog about our upcoming trip around the world, and I’d love to show readers where we are with the Google Maps Engine. Did a work around by taking a screen shot and posting this as a link to the map. But, will need to update that screen shot every time we post. Here’s my site: http://errantries.com/. Map is in the sidebar.

Yes! +1 ………. Or maybe something like the Mapify/Mapify Pro plugin they have over there on WordPress.org?
