Allow embedding of TeacherTube and SchoolTube

  Please consider making it possible to embed videos from TeacherTube.com and SchoolTube.com to WordPress.com blogs. This would be of helpful to educators that use blogs for educational purposes. Many school district networks have blocked access to YouTube and Google videos so it is not always possible to for teachers to embed videos from these sites. TeacherTube and SchoolTube both do an excellent job of of policing their content, so it’s also more appropriate to have students using these educational-based video sites. Having the ability to embed videos from these sites would make WP and even more robust platform for teachers and students to use.

  I have tried using Vodpod and was able to embed the video. BUT, vodpod is blocked by my school so the students STILL can’t view the videos at school.

  The staff do look at the forums but you should also make your suggestion directly to the staff – reference this thread in case others chime in
