Allow guests to make posts so I can approve them

  Hi guys,

  This is my first post on forums, but I have been using wordpress for quite some time and I am planning to migrate it to my own host and domain name.

  My blog is basically about reviewing apps, but I since I won’t be able to write about it much often I want allow guests to create their own posts so I can approve them.

  Do you guys know if there is such plugin which would allow me to do that? And also it would be flexible for themes. (I am planning to purchase one in the nearest future)

  hi,
  You wouldn’t need any plugin to manage guest posts. You can create guest accounts to give your authors and they can create the posts and you can publish them.

  That said, you can find some plugins which might help or have more functionalities to help you.

  If you have a user that is at the Contributor user level, they will be able to contribute articles and edit them until you publish them.

  No. Viewers and Followers are only allowed to read and comment on posts and pages.

  I would utilize a contact form and encouraging people that are interested in contributing reviews to send you their email address.

  You can then invite them to become Contributors to your blog using this form:

  Since you are planning to move from WordPress.com to WordPress.org, I recommend you ask the question in the WordPress.org forums and/or search the WordPress.org Plugins

  @noobmod – since you are planning to migrate to your own host using WordPress.ORG software and use Plugin’s – you are in the wrong forum and should be getting help at WordPress.ORG http://wordpress.org/ – since that is the software you will be using – there are different options than with a site here at WordPress.ORG
