“Allow people to post comments on the article ” – Unchecked and not working

  Greetings, i have a little issue with the comment box.
  I unchecked the “Allow people to post comments on the article”, and the comment box still appears under my blog posts…I would appreciate some help. THanks.

  Hello again, i did find out how to do it (had to edit post then uncheck “allow comments”.
  I now have another related question. Since i disables comments now, under posts it says ‘comments off’. Is there a way to simply delete that sentence? Thanks you.
