Allow readers to post new blog entries?

  I suspect the answer is “no”, but is there any way to allow anyone to create posts (and comments) on my blog? I’d like to create a special “open” blog for a particular purpose, but I can’t see a way that it’s possible with wordpress.com.

  Any ideas? Thanks.

  Comments you can allow, under the comments tab, switch off require moderation.

  The Prologue theme is designed for that, albeit for short entries.

  I should add I think posters have to be users in some way. It’s not a public bb.
