Allow SCRIPT and HTML element tags such as style, id, class in automatic posts
-
Hi,
Is there any way to publish post content AS IS in the content:encoded section of a feed? I mention that I am using the latest version (6.2) and I automate posting using the WPematico plugin. Posts are published, but DIV, A, IMG elements are stripped of their tags (width, height, style, border etc) and SCRIPT are removed entirely.
I do remember this working before, so I assume it is a WP issue, maybe related to the latest version?!
I’ve tried a plugin named Raw HTML that was supposed to allow all html in posts, but probably it only works for manual posts. Also, the define( ‘CUSTOM_TAGS’, true ); added to wp-config.php (plus modifying the functions.php) breaks the site.
Any other ideas?
Thanks.

Hi there!
You’ve posted to the free support forums for websites hosted here at WordPress.com. Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.
The good news is that because you use the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com), help is available at the community forums here:
https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
The folks in the open-source forum are more familiar with these issues and are in the best position to help.
I hope this points you in the right direction.
